About Us
1.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support children and families in underserved communities by strengthening Anganwadi nutrition and care initiatives. We work to ensure that every child receives proper nourishment, early childhood support, and a safe environment to grow. Starting with small community-driven efforts in Bhopal, Anant NGO focuses on improving access to nutritious food, spreading awareness about child health, and supporting Anganwadi centers that play a vital role in early development. We believe that every child deserves healthy nutrition, care, and an opportunity to build a brighter future.
2.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a society where no child suffers from hunger or malnutrition, and every family has access to the support needed for healthy living. Through collaboration with communities, volunteers, and local institutions, Anant NGO aims to strengthen Anganwadi programs and empower children with better nutrition, education support, and opportunities for growth. We envision a future where healthy children lead to stronger communities and a more compassionate society.
Meet the People Who Make Anant NGO Possible
Letika Saran
Letika Saran is no stranger to this city. After all, she was the former Commissioner of Police and Director General, and former Head of Police in TN. And in her 36 years in the police force, she has witnessed a vast spectrum of human suffering – from drug abuse to abandoned parents to children wandering the streets. Knowing the city's geography intimately, has allowed her to pinpoint neighborhoods and specific streets that are often overlooked. Starting the Anant NGO with her close friends when the pandemic hit was a natural progression of her steadfast service-oriented spirit.

History of Chennai Roti Bank
Our Story – Anant NGO The year 2020 changed the world in ways no one could have imagined. The COVID-19 pandemic brought uncertainty, fear, and hardship to millions of families across India. Many people struggled with health concerns, job losses, and financial instability. For vulnerable communities, especially children and low-income families, access to proper nutrition became even more difficult. It was during this challenging time that the vision of Anant NGO began to take shape in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. We recognized that children from underprivileged communities, particularly those connected to Anganwadi centers, often lacked consistent access to nutritious meals and basic support services. What started as a small effort to support local communities soon grew into a dedicated mission. Our goal is simple yet powerful — to ensure that every child has access to proper nutrition, education support, and a healthier future. Today, Anant NGO actively works with Anganwadi centers and local communities to support children, mothers, and families. Through nutrition initiatives, community outreach, and collaboration with local volunteers, we aim to strengthen the foundation of early childhood development. Our work continues to expand across Bhopal and nearby regions, reaching children and families who need support the most. Every meal served, every child supported, and every volunteer effort brings us one step closer to building a more caring and inclusive society. Anant NGO is a self-funded and community-driven organization, powered by volunteers and well-wishers who believe that small actions can create lasting change.
